  Avoid this place unless you smoke, don't mind slow service, and aren't hungry anyway. As others have noted, they still allow smoking in this restaurant - thought that was a thing of the past. Although they have a non-smoking section, you will still get some smoke. My wife and I stopped for Sunday dinner, only because the our first choice was overcrowded. Big mistake - should have kept driving. There wasn't much of a crowd when we arrived, but there were uncleared tables everywhere - not a good sign. We ordered anyway. After waiting almost an hour for our food, our waiter came over and informed us that the kitchen had just informed him that they were out of what my wife had ordered - really, it took an hour to figure out that you had more orders in the system than you had food? Needless to say - we left at that point. This is the worst Applebee's I have ever been to - new management required here.

  Probably the worst Applebee's we've ever been too. We got the 2 for $25 and my husband and I each got the 4cheese mac. And our daughter got the kids steak. Everything was overcooked and tasteless. Our server seemed overwhelmed and behind so service was very slow. And I thought there was no smoking allowed indoors in public anywhere in the US anymore... there was a smoking section! It made the whole restaurant smell like smoke. If we ever drive back though Spartenburg again, we will not be back.

  Food was alright, but service wasn't the best. No one could find our drinks and then one "New" drink we requested wasnt in stock. We had to settle for another drink. It wasnt horrible but it wasnt great!!

  WILL NOT BE BACK!! This is Still a smoking restaurant. Disgusting. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I Will say that the food was good, but I won't be back because of the smoking. It smelled as soon as you walked in the door and just felt dirty, and we were there at 11:30am. I like to be able to breathe, anytime, but especially when I'm eating! Gross!
